5 Spring Wellness Hacks to Completely Reset Your Routine

Spring is finally here, and I don’t know about you, but I am so ready for a fresh start. After months of heavier winter comfort foods, staying indoors, and let’s be honest, probably not moving as much as we should, the change in season is the perfect excuse for a full-body reset.

But instead of doing some crazy, restrictive “spring detox,” I’m focusing on simple, sustainable wellness hacks that actually make me feel good. According to the experts (and my own trial and error), wellness in 2026 is all about nervous system regulation, gut health, and simplified self-care.

Here are the 5 spring wellness hacks I’m incorporating into my routine right now to boost my energy, clear my mind, and get that springtime glow.

1. Morning Sunlight & Circadian Rhythm Reset

During the winter, waking up in the dark is brutal. But now that the sun is rising earlier, one of the best things you can do for your energy levels and sleep quality is to get outside within 30 minutes of waking up.

Even just 10 minutes of morning sunlight on your face helps regulate your circadian rhythm, which signals to your brain that it’s time to wake up and helps you sleep better at night. I’ve been taking my morning coffee out to the patio, and it has completely changed my mood for the day. On days when it’s still a bit gloomy, I rely heavily on my sunrise alarm clock to gently wake me up with light instead of a blaring alarm.

2. “Fibermaxxing” & Spring Gut Health

Gut health is always trending, but this spring, the focus is shifting specifically to fiber and prebiotics. Experts are calling it “fibermaxxing,” and it’s all about feeding the good bacteria in your gut.

After a winter of heavier meals, I’m naturally craving lighter, fresher foods. I’m trying to incorporate more seasonal spring produce like asparagus, artichokes, and fresh greens into my meals. If you want your skin to literally glow this spring, you need to start dry brushing. It’s an ancient Ayurvedic practice that involves brushing your dry skin with a firm bristled brush before you shower.
