Can we talk about how fast June flew by? Summer is officially in full swing, and my TikTok feed has been absolutely flooded with new wellness routines, supplements, and health hacks. As someone who loves to play guinea pig with wellness trends, I’ve been testing out the most viral fads of the month to see what’s actually worth the hype (and the money).
From strange new supplements to drinks that promise to fix our stress levels, June 2026 brought some wild health trends. Here is my honest recap of the top health trends and fads of the month, and whether I’ll be keeping them in my routine for the rest of the summer.
1. The “Cortisol Mocktail” Era

If you haven’t seen an influencer mixing up an orange liquid in a fancy glass at 3:00 PM, are you even on the internet? The “cortisol mocktail” (also known as an adrenal cocktail) took over this month. The idea is to support your adrenal glands and balance your cortisol levels during that dreaded afternoon slump.
The classic recipe is simple: coconut water, orange juice, a pinch of sea salt, and sometimes a scoop of magnesium or cream of tartar. Honestly? I love this one. It tastes like a tropical vacation, forces me to hydrate, and the vitamin C and sodium actually do give me a clean energy boost without the jitters of a second iced coffee. I’ve been using LMNT Electrolytes in mine for an extra boost, and it’s become my favorite afternoon ritual.
2. Bovine Colostrum Everywhere

This is probably the most controversial trend of the month. Bovine colostrum (yes, the first milk produced by cows after giving birth) is being marketed as liquid gold for gut health, immunity, and glowing skin. It’s suddenly in everyone’s morning smoothies and coffee.
While the science is still catching up (as noted in a recent Men’s Health article), the anecdotal reviews are wild. People swear it cures bloating and makes their hair grow like crazy. I’ve been testing a powder version for three weeks. While I haven’t noticed a miraculous transformation in my skin just yet, my digestion has been incredibly consistent. Is it a fad? Probably. But if you struggle with gut issues, it might be worth looking into.
3. Creatine for the Girls

Creatine is officially no longer just for gym bros trying to bulk up. This June, the wellness girls reclaimed creatine, and I am so here for it. Research is showing that creatine is incredible for women’s brain health, cognitive function, and maintaining lean muscle mass as we age.
The best part? Brands are finally making it aesthetic and easy to take. We’re seeing creatine chocolates, gummies, and functional protein sodas. I’ve been adding a simple scoop of unflavored Optimum Nutrition Creatine to my morning water, and I genuinely feel sharper and stronger during my Pilates classes. This is one trend I am definitely keeping.
4. Nervous System Regulation (The New “Self-Care”)

Bubble baths and face masks are out; vagus nerve stimulation and somatic shaking are in. June saw a massive shift away from aesthetic self-care toward deep, physiological nervous system regulation. According to the Global Wellness Summit, this is the biggest trend of 2026.
Instead of just trying to “relax,” people are actively trying to signal safety to their bodies through breathwork, cold exposure, and red light therapy. I finally caved and bought a Red Light Therapy Panel for my bedroom, and spending ten minutes in front of it before bed has completely transformed my sleep quality. It forces me to put my phone down and just breathe.
